An update from The Chief
Well summer is fast approaching and it’s time to prepare for the season ahead. Our trainers and assessors have started preparing our programs for the year. The requal dates and our proposed training courses are included in the attachment below.
The Central Coast Branch training calendar has been updated on the website and will continue to be throughout the year – see attachment below.
If you would like to start preparing for requal or be ready for the start of your Bronze course come and join in our Saturday morning training. Training starts at 9.00am and goes through to around 10.30am. Come and do as much or as little as you like, no pressure just a fun way to start getting fit for the season. The training includes run, swim, and board and EVERYONE is welcome!
If you want to sharpen up on your swimming for the season Wyee Point pool have adult squad on Tuesday night from 6.30 to 7.30 and is suitable for all levels. Contact Wayne or Denise for more details on 4359 1502.

Bronze Medallion & Surf Rescue Certificate Course
Our first BM and SRC course will be commencing Saturday the 9th of October. If you are ineterested in enrolling for BM or SRC please contact chiefinstructor@thelakesslsc.com.au Note: to ensure quality training we are limiting BM and SRC groups to 12 trainees.

IMPORTANT: Any member wishing to complete any course, workshop, etc conducted by SLS MUST direct their nominations via The Lakes SLSC, secretary@thelakesslsc.com.au or call the office on Tuesdays or Fridays 9am-1pm. All Members are to pay the Course fees as per below to The Lakes Surf Life Saving Club Ltd, if you don't turn up you will still be charged for your course as Club still has to pay this fee. The Award Certificate fees will be paid by the Club.
