Welcome to The Lakes Surf Life Saving Club. We are a volunteer, not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to keeping our beachgoers safe. Throughout the warmer months, our dedicated lifesavers provide fixed-location, daylight patrols to protect you and your family in the water.
🟥🟨CRITICAL SAFETY RULE Always swim between the red and yellow flags. If lifesavers can't see you, we can't save you! 🟥🟨
Expert Surf Rescue: Our primary specialty is performing safe and rapid water rescues.
Rapid First Responders: We are highly trained in emergency care with a strong emphasis on resuscitation (CPR). Our patrol teams are equipped with portable oxygen and AED defibrillators to handle critical medical events.
Local Emergency Response: When on duty, our lifesavers can respond to local beach and water emergencies with speed and urgency.
Fully Equipped: We are equipped with extensive safety resources, including direct radio lines to local emergency services and Central Coast support networks.
Look for the iconic red and yellow. You can easily identify our patrolled areas by our red and yellow flags, and our lifesavers are always highly visible in their matching red and yellow uniforms. For your safety, always swim between the flags!
Our volunteer lifesavers patrol Lakes Beach every weekend and on public holidays throughout the lifesaving season.
